Shoot with Lorelee Prentice

view slideshow

Finally I had my shoot with Miss Philippine-Australia 2007, Lorelee Prentice. The shoot had been cancelled couple of times because of bad weather but I am just glad that last Sunday the weather was just perfect. It’s been a while since I did a fashion shoot but it’s good to have a break from taking weddings once in a while to give my photography a little bit of balance.

Here are some of my favouite photos from the shoot.

Wedding: Sheila & Marnelle

Church: St Brigid Catholic Church
Reception: Sebel Hotel

Here comes the bride… Long I wished to take an overhead shot of the bride as she walks down the aisle. It’s a shot that I have always visualised and imagined on how I can capture the anticipation of the bride and groom, as they first see each other on their wedding.

And finally I have my long awaited shot and I wish to have some more of this, I will surely try to explore different angles to expand the potentials of this shot.

Wedding: Angela & Albert

Church: St Patrick, Kogarah
Reception: UNSW

This is my wedding coverage that, I think by far exceeds the rest in terms of story of a wedding. The couple had their wedding reception at the university where they met and graduated, the couple requested to have some formal photos taken into certain location in the university that means a lot to them.

And as we walk through the buildings of the university they couple were telling me stories on where they first met, they use to hang around, etc… These are the things that make me love my job it’s not just taking photos, it is the memory you record for the couple and the people that cares about them.
